I read a lot about the M40A1 builds here on Snipers's Hide. Just wanted to inform those of you who need stocks for your M40 project, I found an ad on Gunbroker.com for a company that reproduces the M40 stock from walnut. Nice looking my I add. I in no way represent this company. Just thought you would like to know.

But from what I can tell these stocks do not have the bump out of wood by the safety like the original m40 stocks do. It is hard to tell from the pics though.
Thanks for info though, it would still be worth picking up to do a tribute m40 build on a budget.

The price is good, another option is the late Mike Kokolus company, gunstockduplicating.com, Mike had an actual M40 stock that he copied, I believe the person to talk with there now is Jesse.
