m40a3 base

Can someone tell me the part number fot the badger ordnance base they use on the m40a3?
Cant find it anywhere

The M40A3 uses a 30 MOA base made by DD Ross for the USMC, but if I recall correctly he does not sell it unless he also machines your action to fit it.

The Badger Ord base which is close is the 306-06UX, but its a 20 MOA base and the overall profile is a little lower than the Ross base. Its pretty close but not exact.

There was a group buy for a clone of the Ross base a year or two ago here on the hide as well which is where I got mine from.

I checked a couple months ago and D.D. Ross quoted me $600 for the optics platform and machine work.

Send Marty an email, he has the M40A3 bases. Dan Ross will sell his base even if he does not do the machining, he will just strongly recommend that he does the machining since it is easy to screw up apparently.

The Badger part number for the USMC scope base is DRO. You will have to call and order it straight from Badger.
