Curious about something…what differentiates an M40A6 from an M2010 other than use by different branches? Thinking about a future build of an M40A6/M2010 clone using a Cadex chassis.

Literally everything differentiates them. Nothing is the same between them.

I thought they both were built using the Remington RACS chassis, but what other differences are there?

Youre using a cadex chassis though. The 2010 is a 24” 300 winmag with a 24” barrel built by remington using a long 700 receiver. The A6 is a 24” 308 built in house by marines on a short 700 receiver. They may share a trigger. Optics and mounts are different. Lots of threads here to geek out over the details.
