M700 223 mag box question

Hey you 223 and 223AI shooters -

I took the spacer out of the back of my 223 mag box. The follower is shorter and now has a space at the back, allowing it to rock around.

Did you go with a 308 follower, just live with the 223, or do something else? Thanks.

Use the 223 follower. You'll likely want to put a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum in the rear of the mag box. This will still allow the longer rounds to fit, without things getting too "sloppy"

Thanks - so far so good, at least with mag length 77s. They feed OK with the spacer removed.
