I looked online at Brownells & Midway USA but couldn't find any there. Other than picking up a beater at a pawn shop or gun store and raping the action where can you purchase new M700 actions ?

I think they stopped selling them as actions. So the options are buying a low end rifle and stripping it down, or buying a used one and doing the same. If you are looking for a long action, I might be able to help you out.
