Okay, so last night a buddy of mine & I got to see an advance screening of Machete. As some of you may know this originally a fake trailer from Tarantino's Grindhouse movies from a few years ago that they have now made into a feature film. That didn't just do a good job either, they did an absofrigginglutely awesome job!
From the start to the end it was awesomeness abound. A ton of blood & gore stemming from the usage of bladed implements, massive fights and gun play. Danny Trejo, Steven Segal, Don Johnson, Robert Deniro, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan, Jeff Fahey,Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba and I'm sure I am forgetting a few. I found the story to be not just outlandish but flat out awesome as well. Definitely some crazy thoughts went into the plot and storyline, LOL. Any movie that involves multiple decapitations but also has you laughing out loud is a keeper in my book. For some gun action it should be noted that a Sako TRG 22 makes an appearance as well as a million other guns. While some total nudity from all the hot lead females would have been great we had to settle for some Jessica Alba side boob and side butt.
In summation I implore everyone to check this out when it is released. It it definitely one of the best and most fun movies in a looonnnggg time. The day this is released on Blu Ray it will be coming home with me for a second screening.
