All,
I used to live in an industrial area (Phenix City), but now find myself among loafers and suits. I'm getting ready to place my 16" Southbend and Bridgeport. Looking for an easy/affordable source for machine oil. Practical Machinist calls out ISO 22, ISO 32-46 and ISO 68. Besides ordering off the internet, are there "chain" sources for these oils? Anybody got a link?

Re: Machine oil

Yea mobil oils work just fine. There is the met-alpha for normal cutting needs and the vactra way oil for taking care of the machines. Look at fastenal, MSC, or McMastercarr will all take care of what ya need.

Re: Machine oil

Look in your local yellow pages for petroleum distributers. Mobil as well as any of the major manufacturers should work fine. If all else fails MSC may carry what you want.
