I was at buddy range the other day shooting some new loads w JLK 180vld's in my short mag. I had told him that i wanted to strech its legs a lil so he took me to some forest service land to see what it would do.
We started off at 1105 yd which took 29.2 MOA. I made 3 of 5 hits on a 6 inch rock. We then looked a little further out and found about a 12 inch rock at which i ranged at 1435yd. Not having any idea where to dial I guessed at 49 MOA. I held 4 MOA wind and sent one. It hit about 3 ft high directly above the rock. Dialed now to 46.5, held the same wind and hit it! tried again but missed the wind by about .5 MOA. Ended up hitting it 2 of 5 shoots. All misses was due to not holding enough wind.
Now im hooked even worse!
