Mag issues with manners stocks

I have 2 Manners stocks with the mini chassis installed.

When I install a rem700 chassis in one, i can insert a accurate mag metal mag or an AI plastic mag with no issues.

When I install the same action in the other stock, the accurate mag doesn't seem to lock but the plastic mag does.

Any idea what's going on and how to resolve this?

I've had several manners with their integrated mini chassis/dbm (not the new M5 mini chassis that takes separate bottom metal). On about half of mine, I've needed longer/shorter mag latch. If you need shorter, you can obviously cut your existing mag latch down. You can also contact manners, and they will send you a baggie of various length mag latches to try.
