mag screws on mpa ba comp chassis

Those set screws have a nylon insert to keep mag from rattling around. which seems like a great idea but i’ve broken off both the nylon inserts and the set screws themselves don’t want to stay put even with lock tite on them. which led to a mag issue the other day with too tight a fit...

assuming this is common issue, what is everyone else doing to deal with it?

MAG screws? I asked MPA CS with limited response, the hide stepped in and said it would be needed if you put pressure on the MAG in certain situations and will be inable to run the bolt and feed a round. I saw they have plastic plug for the mag well:

Not sure which you are talking about or another option, I have the MDT metal AICS MAGs, they are loose and rattle but I cannot seem to load it in a situation to cause a failure to feed, but will not play with this off the range. I will experiment this weekend.

Sorry, let me be more clear - there are two magwell set screws on the side of the magazine to prevent side to side rattle of the mag. They're on the cut out side of the mag

Like you I'm using MDT AICS mags. I don't have any failure to feed issues (except in a 12 rounder and it fails to feed on round 6 in every gun, its a mag follower issue), its just the annoying side to side play I'd like to get rid of but those setscrews seem destined to fail if they won't stay put with locktite and those nylon inserts keep ripping off.

Buy yourself a little bit of torque seal. Dychem brand. Will work better than lecture. If you’re breaking of the plastic tips maybe you could cut the head off a nylon bolt and slot it. Could also coat it with vibratite prior to installation.
