Magazine release guard??

I joined a Howa rifle page on Facebook based in Australia and found this interesting item; mag release guard, but said he bought it on eBay for $5, I can't find one, except for a shorter version, and it's in Australia too. Shipping is a killer.
Anyone ever seen these?

Yes, okay I can find those now, that's a great option & excuse to mount a lower rail!
This one has a mag latch access hole. I wish I could find one already here in North America.
I reached out to the people in Australia to see if I could order several and then share them to spread the cost of shipping. But I'll keep looking...

Do a search for "Howa bottom metal". There people that make a new bottom metal that has the mag release shrouded so you don't accidently release it, like Jefferson Outdoor.

Jefferson only shows 2 BM for the mini action. I ordered a BM for my SA (308) from PTG, with theirs it's not an issue because theirs has the latch behind the magazine. It's now a waiting game for when, or if it comes. I was looking for something to use in the meantime.

I thought you had a Howa Mini action from the picture and description you posted....For the SA and LA Howa's, just search for Howa Bottom Meatal. There are a bunch of people making them besides PTG.
