Magneto and DTA

I've been using my v2 and have been extremely pleased. All I've had has been a 26inch barrel and I received a 338 22 inch barrel I bought off another member on here. I was going to shoot for the first time today and I wanted to chrono it. With the 22 inch barrel and ThunderBeast muzzle break there is no room to attach it. So I thought about it and decided to take all the spacers off beside the rubber one and see if it would work around the forearm of the gun. It worked quite well there. I hadn't read of nobody doing this and thought I'd share.

Thanks for the tip, I was running into the same problem also and didn't consider mounting it that way.

I triple checked looking down the barrel with the alignment rod to make sure it wasn't going to hit. Being that its not a prefect place made me worry but it will work.

Magneto Speed V2 fits on my 16" Covert but you need to remove the rails.

I guess I missed it there I've read through that deal 1 time and I've tried to stay up to date but there is so much info in that post and so many pages I didn't want to go back through there. I guess the search function would have done it. Thanks for the info.

I didn't remove my rail but I could see where it would be beneficial.
