Magnum Primers

Had a couple of bricks of Winchester Large Rifle primers on the shelf...or so I thought! As I was breaking open a new brick of primers, I noticed the brick under it had the word "Magnum" in its title. Uh-oh! Wish I'd seen that pesky word six months ago when I bought them.

As I have absolutely no use whatsoever for magnum primers, my first thought is to sell them or trade them for a like box of regular primers. Are there any forum rules that prohibit offering primers for sale in the exchange? Or laws for that matter?

I don't know about forum rules but there's no legal reason you can't sell them. If you ship them, though, you're going to run up against Haz-Mat fees and rules that may make it a bigger hassle than it's worth. Probably easier to find a local buyer and sell them FTF.

You can't ship powder or primers.

you can put them on the exchange here on the hide but post your location IE magnum primers FTF in Dallas, TX.

Just an option also, but as long as you re-work up a load using them you can use a LRM primer where a LR primer is called for.
