Have 10 Magpul Gen 3 PRS buttstocks with buffer tubes (No springs, no buffer).
These were assembled onto our Gen 1 chassis and then removed.
No magpul box.

Honestly, whatever was available right before Shot Show last year, lol....
I really do not remember, for us it was just an attachment piece to get the buttstock attached to the center section of chassis.

Can you install these over an existing carbine length buffer, or does it require a rifle length? I'd like to toss one on my Barrett and don't want to swap too much stuff out yet.

The Gen 3 comes with a piece to change out and will work with a carbine buffer, but i believe the OP does not have those pieces with these stocks.

All orders have been shipped except the few in which we are waiting on checks/MOs.
Please note that we will have to hold off on any further shipments until the Hurricane Delta passes.
