now with that said I’m thinking the M118 with the longer OAL would be better for the 6.5CM. Would love to here your thoughts on this. Thanks

Seems pretty straight forward. If your rounds are going to be longer than spec for .308 you need the M118.

I like the M118 Pmag. Just from visual inspection, it offers more room than a standard .308 Pmag, but it also doesn’t drop free from my magwells. It’s not tough to remove, but it’s something to consider if you’re looking for magazines that fall right out when you press the mag release.
