Hard to say without them being out yet but g3ninfinite is correct that the Gen 2s are supposed to be lower profile than the Gen 1s.

When I called about it they were shooting for this month, looks like it's gonna spill into next year.

Magpul release dates are unreliable at best. Expect them to be available about a week after they post on their website that they're shipping to distributors and dealers
