Any of you guys put a MIAD on your Armalite lower? How was the fit and any modifications made?

Yes...Magpul makes a product (grip wedge) specifically for putting a MIAD on an AR-10 type rifle which was designed to prevent problems with the rear takedown pin detent.

They work well and give a proper fit with the MIAD on an AR-10. In terms of the fit otherwise, the MIAD is just as nice as it is on any other AR rifle.

If you're not going to use the large back grip that requires the wedge,the rear takedown spring can be held in place by threading the hole with a 4-40 tap. The spring is then shortened and a set screw is used to hold it in place. When I purchased my MIAD, the wedge wasn't available.
