MagPul PRS – AR10 vs AR15. What's the difference?

I am trying to figure out what the difference is between these 2 stocks. The specs look the same to me.

Cheekpiece on the AR-10 version is "shortened" to allow for the longer charging handle of the AR-10 to clear when the riser is raised...otherwise...no difference.

Would a short action bolt rifle would clear both the AR10 and AR15 models cheek rests?

Most likely, but as with all things...it depends on how the rifle is setup (i.e. - which rifle, which stock/mount for the PRS, etc.).

Just as an added note to ORD's excellent response, even with the AR10 model with shortened cheekpiece, the Rock River Arms LAR-8 charging handle still won't clear unless of course the cheekpiece is completely down and flush with the stock.
