Maj Toure running for mayor of Philly

Red pill so

That probably makes sense to you, but I'm not following.

I've been keeping up with Maj for several months now. Dude's always moving around doing shit, and here lately he's starting to get a more national audience through CPAC. His way of delivering messages is a little unusual IMO, and I think (understandably so) that he's bent more toward people with a higher melanin content, but I've never seen anything to indicate that he really gives AF who he's talking to so long as they're learning about their rights and whatnot.

Always been straight with me, anyway. At this point I'm pretty sure he's just a good American doing good American shit, especially for folks who aren't used to that sort of thing.

I hope he keeps doing what he's doing and takes it as far as he can. I figure the money I've given to him is money well spent.

I'm in a suburb north of Philliy . If this guy is the real deal God Bless em . Philly needs to lose the Dem bullshit . City seems to be going backwards for the last 25 years . When people in Mayfair started worry8ng and leaving the city due to crime that was a serious statement .

Forgive me while I catch up. I watched Venezuelans getting murdered this morning and decided to try and unsee it with a plate of tuna sushi, sashimi, and takoyaki. I'm in a bit of a fish coma right now, but I'll tune in a little later.
Tom's was was certainly more fun than mercury.

Hatters were said to be mad because of mercury exposure, thus "the Mad Hatter."

Toure is preaching responsibility and safe gun handling to an audience largely unschooled. This is a good thing, but not a practice that will earn him Establishment brownie points.

Until 1995, Philadelphia maintained its own firearm laws, the upshot being that legal ownership of weapons by certain non-connected groups was actively discouraged, if not practically forbidden. Mr. Tibbs would come around and tell you that you neither really wanted nor needed one, and that was that. The worst of it for minorities was denial by a police force, the composition of which was increasingly beginning to reflect the growing Afrocentricity of a majority of its residents.

Old ways still prevail, and, although Philly has become shall issue, LTCFs issued over the last 25 years have resiliency on a par with toilet paper, especially in poorer áreas. Blink, they're yanked. Have an MVA or two, they're yanked. The cops are under pressure to "get guns off the street," lawfully purchased and carried, or not, coming from on high. The minority Democrat power players are in overseer, go along to get along mode, and a Toure is frustrating their well-ordered conception of a dysfunctional urban poliplantation easily managed for personal and political gain.

I wish him well, but I predict that our local version of "The Swamp" will drag him down in short order.

He used to follow me on Twitter. I blocked him when he joined the media on the anniversary last year and tweeted : “It’s Neighborhood watch - not neighborhood engage” about Georgie Zimmerman.(who I distain).

I can see where he went racial on that one given Zimmerman was a "White Hispanic" Jew! :ROFLMAO:
Zimmerman was being beaten within an inch of his life when he shot Travon, a good boy turning his life around, Martin.

Prejudice is a many-splendored thing, is it not? The animus on the part of inner city residents towards Asian and other minority shop owners, seen as taking terrible advantage of them, can be fierce.

Yeah like no more bullet proof glass at beer takeouts in Philliy cause it's racist .

Are you gonna vote for him?

He wasnt beat in an inch of his life
Travon started slamming his head against the concrete when he fired. Just because there's no video doesn't mean it didn't happen. The injuries recorded track with Zimmerman's version of the story.

Zimmerman looks like the Pillsbury Doughboy. Travon looked wiry and tough. I totally believe he was getting ass-whooped and afraid for his life. I doubt Martin would have murdered him if he had just balled up and taken the beating, but who's to say?

I don't like Zimmerman either, but the evidence points to his version of the story as being truth, which is incidentally why he was acquitted of the crime.

When everything is race everything is racist.

I followed that case very closely. Zimmerman is an asshole, I stipulate that. I think it could be argued his inner asshole really metastasized after this event.

That said, if you feel this was a bad shoot legally or otherwise first read the testimony, the 911 call, his statements and the testimony of the phone call Trayvon was on with the young “lady”.

As far as I could see, and the jury agreed, Trayvon was the aggressor, the only one making racial slurs and attacked Zimmerman on his way back to his vehicle. This after the 911 operator said “ Are you following him, we don't need you to do that” . Zimmerman had already lost sight of him and at that time turned back to his truck.

Meanwhile, Trayvon had circled back in the opposite direction of his destination and popped out in front of Zimmerman, between him and his destination, his truck.

Photos corroborated Zimmerman’s injures, which were consistent with his claim that Trayvon was on top of him bashing his head into the concrete.

A third party video recording introduced into evidence at the same time in the event has purportedly Zimmerman screaming for help over an over. Again consistent with Zimmerman’s story.

Ballistics found that the fatal gunshot wound was at or near contact range. Again consistent with Zimmerman’s story.

In the court case Zimmerman’s attorney waived “ stand your ground” as a defense and instead went for simple self defense.

nope i said it was a legal shoot, but unlike some i aint a pussy and would have beat that little fucker down instead of him beating me down...just because you can legally shoot someone doesn't mean you should.

Is that your threshold for self defense? Being beaten so rapidly that incapacitation beyond the point of effective response is a distinct possibility?
