Rifle Scopes Major difference between SWFA SS & SSHD

OK I 'm sure this has already been discussed but I missed it. Besides the reticle what is the difference between the SWFA SS and the SSHD series. Does the HD have better glass.

Better glass is one difference.

Another is the chassis/scope body and turret system. The HD models and also the SWFA 3-9 are a different design than the classic line. Also the internals are different in the HD line.
This is one thing I was hoping they were going to include with the update of the classic line. Even if it did bump the price closer to the 3-9.

I'm not certain but I think they may be manufactured in different plants. Someone may be able to chime in on this.

When you upgrade from the classic to HD line you deffinately get your dollars worth.
