Here are a couple pics from todays range time. This is only my second time out with my 5-25 TPal on my Mak and to say the least my groups have shrunk. I was having a hard time keeping .75MOA with my 10X now with the USO I can clearly see the target. I also switched back to SMK but still using the RL-15.
Wind was a little heavy on the 100yard line but died down when I moved out to 200 and 300. Before any body calls BS on the 5rd group at 200, it is NOT BS I swear that is 5rds. That is by far the best 200 yard group I have ever shot. The 300 could come down in size some but I am still happy with it. I am headed out in the morning and will shoot 400,500, and 600.

ALL THE DOTS ARE 1 INCH

Friggen love the new Scope

Re: MAK again with Pics

-Randy you were on the money! My 10X was a good scope but the higher power of the TPal sure does help ALOT!

-macman2564 here is the break down
USO 5-25x58 TPal
1/4 moa EREK
1/4 moa #3 windage
RDP reticle
Green lit reticle
35mm tube
USO 35mm rings

-shooter65 The barrel is a Bartlein Barrel, 30 cal 11.25 twist, MTU contour.

Re: MAK again with Pics

I will not be epoxying the action to the stock though.
This is one of the reasons I picked Gary's solution. It uses a recoil disk that you put between the action and the barrel, instead of the recoil lug. I've been told by Gary that most of its customers prefer to not epoxy the action, with absolutely no accuracy loss.
I'll be using a Pierce TubeGun Special action for this build (wanted to use the Templar but it's geometrically not compatible with Gary's stock).
Oh, and it'll be 6.5mm Creedmoor.

Re: MAK again with Pics

So after 10 plus trips to the range, the 44.8gr SUCKS at 400 yards. I tried everything to get a group and the best it would do is 1MOA but nothing under. So I did some more load work and came up with 42.8gr of RL-15 under a 175SMK lit by a BR2 and loaded to 2.220 Ogive. Here are the results. The first group was going GREAT until the last pull of the trigger, oh well that is the way it goes.

All groups measured from edge to edge.

Here is another group once I dialed in the proper dope it is under .5moa and GTG

A reticle I designed and USO sells. It's on their website. Has the thinnest wire of any of their reticle. I think there are three versions of it now.

This is the MOA version. http://www.usoptics.com/upgradesD.php?recordID=RET-081

Re: MAK again with Pics

Here is the RDP reticle, the thin wires are awsome and give you very good control. Those dots above are 1inch and the reticle does not cover them up at 400. My old SSX10 would completely cover a 2inch dot a 300, it made it a pain to get same POA every time.
