Man arrested for buying "stolen" gun parts online.........Apparently not the seller, though??????

Kolozie faces the following charges:

* unlicensed sale/possession of an assault weapon;
* possession of a firearm without an FID card or license to carry;
* possession of ammunition without an FID card or license to carry;
* improper storage of a large capacity firearm;
* improper storage of a firearm;
* 19 counts of illegal possession of a large capacity magazine.

Why would anyone want to live in Massachusetts?

One of the joys of living behind enemy lines is an almost unfathomable net of firearm regulations. Permission to buy firearms. Separate permission to carry firearms. Some states ban AR rifles while others allow some preban firearms but not others. License to buy ammunition. Requirements for locked storage of firearms and ammo because few people teach kids how to handle firearms (or anything else that might possibly be dangerous). If you don’t understand this crap count your blessings.

Didn't see stolen parts listed among the charges. How do we know the seller wasn't arrested?

If they did not center attention on him with something there keeping tight lipped about . BUYING .. On-Line , seems to be the Red Flag here, that people need to start paying attention to .
---> ( Me Guessing ) .. Was most likely BATF sting program, that the suspect was caught in when buying On-line firearms parts . Probably working together with cooperating with Massachusetts . Then all is needed is the BATF contact local LE to have them step through the door 1st, because his State's prior knowledge that his ' permission ' to have a firearm, a magazine, a .45acp , loaded Ammunition are expired .

There most certainly was a LE Pre-Game plan on this but it skimpy with news report . It is pretty vague on the exact background of the 31-year-old James Kolozie . No background is being furnished on him in this new read . Usually LE administrative will spoon feed the media suspects background info or other per-trial info . So it's anyone guess why they centered him out with anything more that just getting red-flagged with an On-line purchase .

It could be the suspect James Kolozie is a real bad dude that the Fed. BATF along with Mass. State was keeping a vigilant eye on to stop the threat of terrorism ? .
Or. it could be simple as this guy is the unlucky ( Example to made of ) to posture a heavy hand in the public eye ?.

Odds are pretty good you're at least partially correct. The lesson here is don't break the speed limit if your license is revoked.

99.99999% online stores will not absolutely positively ship to Massachusetts
-

Very well might not be a retail sale . might been purchase from a firearms website sales forum or Ebay , they not saying . but it will come out.
I hate reading media incomplete short story information . They 'choose' not to say what on-line venue was purchased from that kicked off the red flag to Mass. LE to do a door knock warrant .
.

Reading between the lines, it seems the seller was busted, and then they followed up to who the seller sold to, and this guy got rolled up.

The arrest of 31-year-old James Kolozie stemmed from a federal investigation into the suspect's alleged online purchase of stolen gun parts

Also begs the question if the buyer was aware the parts were stolen. If he knew, say from Craigslist or similar, then thats shame on him for sure. That could speak to a BATF sting.

What ever the case, MSN will surely spin it as bad as they can against gun owners...

Agreeded. Most online stores state on their websites that they can not ship certain items to certain communist states. Unless the seller sold or shipped an illegal magazine or sold NFA items, or serialized firearms or frames to the guy, no crime was committed by the seller. Didi I miss something?

The bigger question?
Why would they move, to another state to get away from the fucking mess they made, and promptly begin shitting in that nest as well?
