Manners MCS2 w/ Proof Sendero Inlet compatible with Bartlein M24?

I'm looking at placing a Defiance Ruckus with a Bartlein M24 contour barrel in a T4A-TEAM w/ MCS2 stock that currently has a Proof Sendero inlet. I've heard that the Proof Sendero contour is very similar to an M24 profile. I'd prefer to use a Bartlein M24 in this stock and wonder if it will work without modification given that the Bartlein is a straight taper instead of stepped like the Proof is.

It will probably be tight around where the shank transitions to taper.

Yeah I figured it might be too close. I just sent an email to Manners to see what their recommendation is. I'll update this thread when I hear back.

Update... my particular stock has the carbon lined barrel channel option and after speaking to MCS they recommended against changing this as the work required would be too extensive to make it worthwhile/cost effective. They said they'd essentially need to tear out everything and rebuild it from the ground up. Just a heads up for those that have the carbon lined barrel channel or are thinking about it as it may limit your options in the future.
