Manners PRS stock pic?

Anyone have a Manners PRS stock that can post a pic from above the barrel to show fitment in the barrel channel and what barrel size it is? Trying to decide on barrel contour for this stock.
Thanks
Hi Crackshot, a lot of the PRS stocks will have the comp oversize carbon fiber barrel channel. Is there a contour that you would like to see fitment? I can see what we have here at the shop and take a few pics. We can cut to what ever you want. thank you very much,

Have you guys had a chance to look at an action using the Barloc? Just dropped my nucleus into a PRS I picked up from CORE. Wasn’t going to use the Barloc but went that route...for now. I opened up the barrel channel and the marine Tex is curing as I type but I have to say I didn’t enjoy opening the inlet for a Barloc.....nothing like dremeling a brand new $800 plus stock.

Hi D2junky, We can inlet for the Barloc quick change colar here if we know at time of order. It is basically the same dia as the action, when cutting the stock we just extend that portion over the recoil lug inlet as needed to give room. I hate that you had to open it up also. Did you bed the Barloc colar?

Hi Bjay, we actually made a change to all the stocks going to Core with a heavy palma inlet about 3 or 4 months ago to there specs. It is on the larger size to insure fit with all brands. Whos barrel and shank length you running. Thank you very much,

No I DID NOT bed the collar. I wrapped it with 10 mil pipe tape and filled the notches with clay to let it float. I’m using a savage prefit so there’s quite a gap at the shank next to the collar (doesn’t bother me) and had to open up the channel towards the muzzle. It was floated about 20mils when bedded but when I was checking the fit a rap on the forend would cause enough flex for the barrel to touch. I don’t care about Cnc pretty at this point in my life.

Good deal, I saw the words marine-tex and barloc in your first post, just wanted to make sure you where good to go. LOL

Not my first trip down the bedding path lol. And marine Tex and I get along better than Devcon for some reason. At arms length it looks good. I’ll send it in some day to have an Arca rail installed and have the bedding prettied up once I settle on a barrel and whether or not I’ll use the Barloc. I have a shouldered prefit that’s worthless until action wrenches come online. I just wanted to shoot now and wait later.

Although there shouldn’t be much difference between either as far as I letting goes. The barrel shanks will be different but the inletting for the Barloc should be the same.
