its going to be for long range competition, coyote hunting, deer(maybe), and other pesky pests. oh and on a rem 700 s/a. and is a ax/ or reg aics chassis worth the money? I like the adjustability of the stock

IIRC there is about a 2 lb difference in getting the adjustable cheek piece/LOP and without it, and that's 2.7 lbs without and nearly 5 lbs with, so almost twice as heavy. If using for hunting, that is something to consider.

stockdoc is right, I have a T2 non adjustable cheek and wish I had the adjustable. I have a Ken Farrel base with low 30mm rings and the scope is still to high to get a good cheek weld. I have ordered a T4A for my 6.5 Creedmoor build, and will most likely sell the T2 to get an adjustable model. I have noticed that its not as bad from the bench, but when shooting prone it really affects me.
