Manners TF4A & Area 419 Arca rail gap

I am just installing an Area 419 Arcalock 14” rail on my brand new Manners TF4A with Gen 2 mini chassis. There is a big gap between them starting about a third of the way back. Is this normal? Any ideas on the best way to correct for it? If I install the middle or rear blind nuts and tighten it, it’s going to bend the rail. Open to ideas and suggestions.

I drilled extra tee nuts into the forend and just mounted the rail slightly forward to eliminate the gap.

I appreciate the idea but I definitely want to be able to get all the way up on a barricade or get my tripod adapter slid all the way back.

If it was mine I would send it to Chad at LRI and have him inlet a slot/channel in the bottom of the 4A for a perfect fit, but hey...........that's me.

The stocks werent really designed with having a perfectly flat piece of metal attached

I'm in the same boat.

I'm planning on inletting mine to sit flat. Right now the action screw is tight, I have two small screws on the fore end, and where the manners barricade stop was there is a spacer there. I don't like it, but won't have time to deal with it until June. It works for now. It's tight and doesn't flex or cause any stupid problems. Just looks like crap. I wanted the rail backed up to the mag well also. My V22 doesn't balance well on the tripod further forward. I was half tempted to bed the rail, to take up the gap. But I just can't make myself do it
