Does anyone have any experience with March optics? Looking at their 1-10 SFP.

Some love them, but it seems PRS style shooters find the "eye box" a little too fussy.

A mate has one for pig hunting on a 308 bolt. The scope is very nicely made, I find the colours are a little washed out and parallax touchy - too touchy for a lpvo.

Had a 3-24 x 42.
Did the job fine and had consistent tracking.
Light package and decent glass.
Eyebox was a little tight, more so cranked to 24x.
Reticle was decent but needed to loose some weight.

On Thanksgiving?
Is a good scope. I have a Fx 5-40 and no regrets. It is an hard trainer also for PRS...lighter and smaller than other high power scopes, glass is good but glass at this level is a matter of taste. Try one and if you like it buy it with confidence.

So what did you replace a 700g scope with to loose weight and retain the feature set of the 3-24X42?

I want to drop weight over a 5-20X50 S&B US. Sounds like you found the holy grail. ?
