Rifle Scopes Mark 2

Would a lupy mark 2 work for a beginner scope??? ill be shooting mainly out to 7-800 yards. it will be on a savage model 10. it will be sitting on a badger base with 20 moa cant.

I do not have one but it was the scope I was looking at to top my 700, 4-12 adj AO. For the $500-$600 price, I was not all that impressed at the dressed up VXII and the 55moa adjustment left me short. I debated hard and ended up with SS10x at about half the cost.

Before dropping the coin on one, I would look at Sightron.

For the same cost, you get a better optic.

The 3 X 9 on my 22 lr trainer works fine, very happy with it

I had one. It worked fine. Didn't care for how thick the cross hair was (too thick). That was back when they first came out. I think there are a lot better scopes out there now in that price range.
