So while perusingthis thread there was mention of the guy's Gerber Mark II he had on his hip. I awoke some long suppressed fond memories of a Mark I I had in the early 80s and a longing I had for a Mark II.
While at my LGS recently, he was liquidating the estate guns and knives of a retired LtCol. He had a fine example Gerber Mark II with some carry time evident, but not use (officers ... shees
). I picked it up for more than I thought it worth, but made up for it with a couple 25rd pmags full of FGMM168.
I've had a Navy Ka-Bar Mk2 for many years, so this adds nicely with that and my SECNAV Trophy Mk2 Mod 1. Now the proud owner of 3 different Mark 2s.
