I’m sure this has been asked before. I have a mark 5HD 7-35x56 coming. Anyone have an idea on ring height. 1.0” 1.15” 1.125” ??? Slim pickings on rings now a days

20 MOA rail with proof competition barrel.
Thanks

Depends where your stock/chassis and cheekbones are behind the scope, and if there’s a barrel enclosure under the front of the scope. Assuming it’s tactical-height or adjustable cheek riser, the only thing between scope and barrel is air, and having a 20moa rail, you should be very happy with these in 35mm diameter and 32mm height:

But naturally there are half a million other good options if you can find something else in stock. Without knowing your specific rifle - please post a picture - we can’t be more precise on height.

I can go into the engineering detail on the ARC rings a lot, but to start off the FAQ:
  • yes, the torque spec is accurate
  • these aren’t the vertically split rings you always get warnings about
  • they don’t have a ton of screws because they don’t need a ton of screws to hold the scope
  • the scope doesn’t rotate at all when you tighten the rings, it’s amazing
