Does anyone have any feedback they would be willing to share regarding using the device to trim cases to a different caliber? I want to trim all of my .223 to make .300 Blackout but using a cut off saw doesn't seem to work efficiently (if at all).

Also, I am wondering if the device would work with my XL750?

You might try a tubing cutter to start then finish with a case trimmer to get exact length. I'm talking about a standard tubing cutter, the type with a cutting wheel and 2 rollers with manual tension adjustment crank. The kind that plumbers use on copper tubing.
