For those of you Marlin 795/70/etc owners out there, the only mags available were the factory 7 and 10 rounders, or VERY rare Marlin/Ramline high caps that were discontinued long ago and sell for $50+. I don't even include the National Magazine straight mags, which have so many problems that they're worthless.

NOW, there's a new 25-rd high capacity mag hitting the market, standard banana clip design:

Marlin 25-rd High Capacity Magazine for 795/70/etc

Re: Marlin 22 Owners can now buy High Capacity Mags!

Damn you marlin for having a thousand different numbered 22lr's

What style is "795". What is that compatible with?

Re: Marlin 22 Owners can now buy High Capacity Mags!

795 is the current box magazine 22 lr. Synthetic stock and sporter weight barrel, but that's irrelevant for the mag interchangability.

This mag ought to work for:

795 70 700 7000 99 989 995 and probably lots more

Re: Marlin 22 Owners can now buy High Capacity Mags!

Basically it is allot like the Model 60 but it has a detach mag instead of a tube. Accurate little rifles out of the box.

right on weill deff get some of those

Marlin had a mag redesign near the mid 1990s
Rifles produced before the redisgn will not accept post redesinign Mags. And vice versa.
Might be a good idea to make sure before ordering to confirm what fits your rifle.

Negative Ghostrider.

The redesign was in '96. The purpose was to prevent pre 1996 high cap mags to not fit in the new rifles. HOWEVER, the newer mags can be used in the older rifles.

The redesign was minimal, just a notch IIRC.
