Pawn shop has this particular rifle for $149.00. Don't know anything about this model or rifle. Is it accurate and a good price for this rifle? Have no reasons as to why I want a 22mag other than I do not have this caliber. I would have to rate the condition of this rifle as very good and no rust spots. Would you buy this rifle if you had the money?

I had one that shot pretty well, but nothing special. I think new price is typically around $200 or so. I'm also thinking the newer models have a better trigger.

buy it. is it a 25m or 25mn? I had a cheap walnut stocked 25MN about 12 years ago that to this day Ikick myself for getting rid of it. Topped with a tasco target/varmint scope at the time, i had NO problem knocking down the 15lb turkey plates at 200y with that rifle. I had to to hit them in the head to cause enough disruption to the steel plate to make it fall, but it was a great time, and a very reliable rifle. it LOVED CCI 40gr ammo, and would not shoot federal 50's at all (literally 3' group at 100 yds...could not be explained by anyone that saw it. I could miss the whole pallet the targets were stapled to at 100 yards. the CCI stuff though...less than an inch all day long.

Buy it. If you don't like it, you have someone you can send it to right here! My Marlin 925 is a tack driver. I'm sure the Magnum series will treat you just as well.

I think I will. Just bought a stack on safe to transfer all the ammo out of the gun safe. Wife went ccrazy because I have about 17000 rounds of 22lr and several hundred rounds of 30-06, and so on. She'll have a fit when I start accumulating 22 mags now. Thanks for the info.
