I have been using Apple TV+ on a 3-month free trial. I can assure you that a vast majority of the programming (movies and series) are big time woke. The only thing that I have watched on the service that was solid and BS free was the movie "Greyhound." The Tom Hanks flick about a destroyer escort circa early 1942.
Programming is generally filled with white man hating, "stunning and brave" bitchy women and magical gays.

Through episode 5. A great episode. Best yet. A lot of great aerial combat.

I’m liking it a lot so far. Admittedly biased after 28-years in the AF, but yeah…can’t imagine that type of warfare nowadays. No way we’d be able to fight that hard now…hope I’m wrong about that.

Better than The Pacific, but not as well done as Band of Brothers IMHO, but well worth the time to watch.

Cemented my feeling that I *never ever* wanted to be on a bomber crew. What the 8th endured over Europe before the P51 started providing long-range escort is unimaginable today.

I'm of the opinion that BoB is so good because 1. it was first, 2. it was based on a book written by one person, and 3. it followed a single group of soldiers. I just rewatched The Pacific; it is excellent in its own right showing the brutality of the Marines' island hopping campaign. But since it was based on Helmet for My Pillow and With The Old Breed, it is definitely two distinct stories following Leckie and the 1st Marines and then Sledge with the 5th Marines.
