Match M852?

Forgive me if I put this post in the wrong place, I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere else,

I found some M852 ammo that "looks" like its loaded with 168GR SMKs
So what is the Knurling at the bottom of the cases for?

Are the primers crimped in?

they are 168 smks, the ribbing means "not for combat use"
its usually stamped on the box too, but it is combat legal. military match ammo isnt crimped primers.

Wow, Thanks. I am assuming the knurling/ribbing won't be affected by a full length sizing die
