Mauser 2018?

I don't see a lot of new Mausers, at least in north America; might be more popular in EU.

But a local dealer has a Mauser M18 in a 308, light, 22" threaded barrel, and guaranteed sub MOA and all for around $650.

worth buying as a light hunting gun/target or just get a ruger american?

I think these are just the Germans attempt at a budget rifle like the Ruger american, TC compass, and etc.

If u want a new Mauser style rifle for hunting, buy a zvasta or a cz.
