I have a custom 280 built on a old Mauser action. Not sure how to go about my question. It has that recoil lug looking thing on the back of the action where the rear of the base attaches. I think the base that's on there now is causing troubles(its one of those dovetail peices of shit.) I would like to find a better rail to put on it but can't find one anywhere. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Wow I'm even confused after reading that.
