I was in a gunshop doing my e-form 4 and saw a Mauser-Werke Patrone single shot 22lr for $350 and it was interesting enough that I decided to take it home with me. While not in perfect condition overall I took it apart when I got home and all the main parts are matching(barrel, receiver, stock, trigger guard, safety, etc all matching numbers) and the bore is in excellent condition. The thing shoots excellent or at least as good or better than my abilities with open sights.

Anyone here a history nut on things like this? From what little research I've done it seems like it was made in the 1920s or 30s. I would like to know more specifics if anyone has any knowledge about these.

Appears to be a nice civilian rimfire. Patrone is German for cartridge, I’ll do a lil research, see what I can come up with.
