May Arizona LRPRS Monthly Match

Next monthly match will be on May 21st, 7 AM start time at Phoenix Rod & Gun Club, 50 rounds course of fire.

Steve is running the match so I don't know what the game plan is.

Rounds downrange at 7am, 50 of them. Be there by 0645 to sign up and pay up.

Muster at the 300 yard line (parking lot by the public range for those not familiar with the layout.).

Its gonna be a full house with the vegas boys, prescott boys and a few others coming down, so please don't get there late.

We had 15 shooters and did a lot of positional shooting today, which is good because I need the practice on it. 50 rounds with a combination of paper and steel. Top 3 for now:

1. Regina M
2. Matt
3. Scott M

Hope everyone had a good time!

Nice shooting Regina, Matt and Scott!

Most of all I hope the positional and paper is a little helpful practice for our contigent representing a NorCal's TBRC next month!

The guys from ProPlate targets came down and we demo'd on of their pretty ingenious rocker based targets. THanks for making the trip down the hill guys!

I agree with Tim, Steve. Great match. Challenging mix of paper and steel... Hopefully the extra practice will help AZ LRPRS next weekend at TBRC. A little extra practice never hurt anyone (except a barrel), right?

We are heading out to do some practice this weekend...alot of positional stuff...gonna try to figure out how to get my truck axle stabilized! Good physical therapy (recoil therapy) for my shoulder!
