This match was held at my home range Mayberry GPA outside Westminster MD. After many trip to ASC I had to invite the guy's up to shoot in my neck of the woods. Maybe the luck they had at my place will rub off on me when I go back to WV in May. And that was my gun Matt shot in the match. He was I hell of a shot with a gun he first shot the day before. Him and Brock made a great team.

Re: Mayberry GPA Sniper/Spotter Match Results

Gents,
First off, thanks for the opportunity to enjoy a very well thought out match! The course of fire was both interesting and challenging. Targets were a mix of reactive(water bottles, clays, tiles) paper IDPA type and steel plates and floppers. Distances ranged from 18-600yds. A pistol scenario , a battlefield AK pickup stage, and cooperative stages made this match the excellent shooting experience it was. There was also a 15 minute ranging excercise.

Winning was an unexpected honor for Brock and myself. I have to thank Tom especially for letting me shoot a MOST excellent rifle. The Predator custom shop hit a homerun on this rig. The magpul furniture, Mountain shooter sling, and excellent trigger made transitioning to a gun I was not familiar with easy. The Predator Custom Shop had the JARD trigger tuned just right for my tastes. The rifle performed flawlessly and I did not have any failures whatsoever in the two days I got to shoot it. It was very accurate and well Sub Moa with FGM.

I enjoyed shooting with you all. Thanks again Tom and Tom, and all the other staff that made this day happen. Thanks to the sponsors who supported this match, and who make events like this one even more enjoyable by enriching the experience through thier generosity. I was fortunate enough to pick up a Predator shop full camo refinish certificate from the prize table and am now enjoying picking which rifle to send them.

Matt and Brock-
Congratulations on some fine shooting!

Tom and the Mayberry crew-
Awesome match, thanks for putting it together and for all the work you guys do for tactical shooting in Mid Atlantic region. I'm looking forward to the April match, as well as doing the carbine match again in June (no snow for that one). And that was one awesome prize table - my crew hauled away over $1300 worth of gear!

For anyone interested in the carbine match, check out this video, made by guy on 4th place team, Marc:
