I have two identical McGowen AR barrels. 223 Wylde, 7.7", stainless button rifled, Mid-length gas, cerakote black, 5/8 24 muzzle thread.
Embarrassing story: I ordered the first one, installed it, shot it, it shot 3" groups. Called them and sent pictures of groups, they made another barrel and sent it to me. Same thing, 3" groups. Pulled the barrel and installed an ARP barrel, same thing. At that point it dawned on me that the gas block was smacking the inside of the handguard and it wasn't any of the three barrels. The ARP barrel remains in my blaster and I have had these two McGowan barrels sitting in the corner for 4 years. They have some red loctite remains sitting in the threads and have had about 50-100rds on them. Gas ports are sized for adjustable gas blocks.
$125 each styd
