McMIllan A3 vs A6-7 grip ?

Anyone have direct knowledge of the difference in grip area between the A3 & A6-7 especially the side to side thickness & swell ??

For better or worse Im completely at home with an A3 .. I find myself wanting an A6-7 but have not been able to get my paws on one & I just cant trust what im told on the phone from mcmillan... Not gonna get into the why/what for on the trust issue!!
