SOLD McMillan A5 R700 LA w EFR

Bought this for a 300PRC build and decided to go the chassis route. Bought it from @sdman11890. Shoots 1/2 MOA groups even if the recoil lug area opened up. Lots of QD flush cups on it on the sides and bottom.

Carbon OD green McMillan A5 for a long action R700. My Origin long action dropped right into the bedding. Includes CDI bottom metal CIP length for AICS mags 3.850".

Badger EFR is great, I have no issues clearancing my 26" M24 contour barrel.

Now also includes ~1lbs of brass weights (spray painted) on the stock in place of the stock spacers to balance it out.

Rifle as pictured weighs 18.5lbs unloaded with the suppressor. The stock weighs about 4.4lbs with the bottom metal, EFR, and the bronze spacer weights on the buttstock. Taking those weights off drops the weight to 3.8-4.0lbs.

With the new chassis arriving tomorrow, I pulled the barreled action out and took a bunch of pictures of the stock.

You can see where the recoil lug bedding was opened up. I had to deepen it slightly from where it was to fit my origin action. I can't recall what R700 clone it was bedded for, but it had an unusually short recoil lug. The Origin lug is roughly 1.65" tall. I dropped my 300 PRC in afterwards and it shot lights out so I never bothered to re-bed just the recoil lug area. Plenty of space to do it.
