McMillian long with a Rem 700 .308 SPS short

Hello,

Quick sanity check please...will a McMillian A-4 long action stock fit a Remington 700 .308 SPS short action without any major issues...?

The reason is, there is one A-4 stock left and it happens to be Long action and I do not feel like waiting 3-4 months for a custom short action if the long will work...

For: Target shooting, hunting between 100-600 yards mostly, occasionally farther... : )

No it won't. The action holes won't line up.

Thanks brothers...should have paid more attention to my armor 10 years ago...hahaha. Damn I want an A-4 short McMillian stock...trying to rebuild my M40 with the A-4 upgrade... : )

JW Precision used to stock them constantly but it looks like he's gotten out of the stock business totally???
