Every part that I could was purchased from a Hide vender. I have yet to shoot it, but I will make it to the range tomorrow.

Re: Mcree + Alpha11

Did you install the barrel? Gotta love Scott Mcree, when everyone is taking the nuts off their Savages he is putting them on the Remingtons. I hear they work very well, Scott knows his shit! We need a range report! Nice rifle, enjoy it.

Re: Mcree + Alpha11

That's bad ass! Par for course though when you get something from Mark.

FYI, if it's chambered for 168/175's then checkout McCourt Munitions custom chamber load. It shot 1/4 MOA from 100-300 yards in my rifle from Mark.

Re: Mcree + Alpha11

Yes I installed the barrel myself.
I got PTG go and no-go guages, action wrench and I have a really BIG bench vise, a couple of aluminum barrel blocks with a piece of leather to keep from leaving marks and its a piece of cake. This is the second action that barrel has been on, the other was a old untrued PSS and it shot good with the barrel. The original thought when I got the barrel was no gunsmith or long wait for a new barrel.
