So the chassis came in yesterday. I managed to get it together with out any problems. Only issue was the Luth-AR stock I bought for it was way to long for my body size. So I modified it shorter by about 1 1/2" or so. So after all this work on the stock I did the same to the AR buffer tube I installed on the rifle being I got the folder with AR style because I wanted to make the rifle lighter by about 1 1/2 pounds to 2 pounds. So I will post before and after the mod pics.

So this is what my Remington 700 Sendero SF II 300WM looked like before I got it changed out to this new stuff. Not that it was bad or anything but in my personal opinion I like how I can get behind the McRee chassis vs the HS stock. Some that have been on this forum for a while should remember this in pic. :)

Now the next pics is the one with the Luth-AR stock before I modified it. Look close and you will see thats its longer..... Oh and my cat did not want to move so sorry if its blocking part of the rifle. :D

Now these are the pics of how it now looks with the modified stock. I will not change much more and if anything just a paint job or something of that sort.

This is a up-close of the stock from the adjustment side. Also see the built in level makes it nice when shooting!

This last pic is of the whole family of bolt rifles I own that are precision long range rifles.

Actually the G7 chassis is not made in CIP. CIP would be nice but 3.625" is plenty being I shoot most of my reloads at 3.550" because I have a short throat on this rifle. So a 220 SMK I can push at 2830-40 with 76 of H1000 over the Federal 215M primers and Win case. Can't complain :)

EDIT: I actually just measured the mag I got with the chassis from McRee and it measures out at 3.632" So plenty for my even for A-Max 208" and how I load them.
