Gunsmithing MDT ACC Thumb Rest?

Anyone have information regarding a slightly larger thumb rest on the MDT ACC?

There is a slight ledge which kinda works, but I'd like a little bit more.

I hot glued a little piece of aluminum L-stock such that it is co-planar with the thumb rest ledge. I rounded off the edges so it looks like a semi circle from the perspective of the shooter. Then I put a piece of grip tape across the gap. Looks ghetto, works fine.

I'll grab a photo this afternoon.
