Hey fellas! This is my first post here.
I've recently bought a Howa1500 in an XRS chassis. After my first time shooting (less than stellar) I noticed my rear action screw was slightly loose. I've since sat the chassis and barrel up, put the screws back in & retorqued the action screws to 65 inch pounds (I also degreased them)
The rear action screw seems to have a couple of threads spare at the top hole (Like the rear screw is a tiny bit too short) Is this normal?
Any other tips relating to these chassis would be appreciated.
