What type of measuring devices do i absolutly have to have such as OAL gauge, comparator, etc. I have all the big stuff mics, dies, press. I need all the little stuff to make sure i am doing this right. What do you use and what are good brands ( buy once)? If what i am saying doent make sense please tell me.

Case comparator (Hornady)
bullet comparator (Hornady)
OAL gauge (Hornady)
calipers (mitutoyo, starrett)
one piece rod (Dewey)
parker hale jags
chronograph (magnetospeed, labradar, Oehler)
bubble level

the necessary "measuring stuff" I can think of. The rod+jag to help push bullet out when you're getting OAL and things.

Just to add, with the Hornady OAL gauge you'll also need to buy the modified case for your caliber. And with the bullet comparator, you'll need the proper insert for your caliber as well.

The case comparator allows you to measure your base to shoulder length when bumping your case shoulders back.

The bullet comparator allows you to measure your base to ogive (for bullet seating depth), which is more accurate/consistent than using OAL.

I'm new to reloading and those measuring devices are the only ones I use based on my research of what is needed.
