Aside from jamming a patch down the bore, any other ways to measure twist?
On this one rifle I'm having trouble, never get the same measurement 2x. Patch must be slipping I'm guessing.

Thanks!

Cut a patch in half to add to the first to fatten it or rotate the patch you have now to get more wrapage around in the middle to tighten it up some.

Short of a borescope and measuring how far that goes to turn just like a patch would but viewing from the inside Im not sure.

So I thought about using a borescope for a minute. Till I remembered how easily I get vertigo and figured I would probably keel over. :)

So a mini patch under the main got me going.
1-10 as advertised.

Thanks fellas. Stay tuned for my next post " what are the odds I can get this barrel off the receiver ". :)
